Neana said... There was a Threads article about hiding a zipper in the inside seam of one pocket (where the two pocket pieces are sewn together). Add the width of the pocket to the waist band and either hide the opening, or make it a design feature. Keep the original front zipper opening giving yourself a total of two zippers on the pants. This allows you to dart the pants in at the waist and still have enough fabric to get them over your hips. I think two darts on each panel looks better than lots of small darts. Good luck!
