said... Thanks Mel.J Well regarding the anti-tarnish cloth, I am still thinking since my flatware is not really silver... they are oneida 18/8 stainless steel so I am wondering if I need it. However I have a few 100% silver serving pieces which could use the anti-tarnish cloth... 9/3/02 1:13 AM
said... No, the 18/8 stainless doesn't need anti-tarnish cloth. But they work wonderfully and you will like them for your sterling silver items. Your silverware rolls look adorable, by the way! 9/3/02 1:17 AM
said... ok so its decided then. I am not getting the expensive anti-tarnish cloth for these rolls atleast. I might consider it for my other silver items. What type of fabric should I use then? I dont like the look of printed calicos... 9/3/02 1:25 AM

said... Deepika, Looks great! I'd use cotton for stainless--the sorts of prints and near solids available now are nearly endless. Flannels, too. (Even the Fossil Fern print comes in flannels now.) For the silver, each pocket should hold only once piece for the best tarnish protection if you do get the silver cloth for those pieces. My personal favorite cotton source is www.bighornquilts.com. Great prices, lovely lady. (Be sure to read her bio.) :) 9/3/02 5:44 AM
