You see, if I had just kept reading your reviews I would have answered my question about "what skirt are you wearing?" Here it is! Beautiful! I love the line. Looks so lean with all those tops. Did you find a pot of time somewhere? You are a sewing maniac!! Thanks for all the inspiration!

Rennie, this is a great skirt for fall - it has such a nice lean line. I second Diane E, you are a sewing maniac! Yes, and don't you love aubergine - both the food and the color? It is one of the basics in my closet.

Rennie, we all draw inspiration from each other. After reading your review, I am tempted to take my burda straight skirt pattern out (I bought it last year but never tried) and sew it. I will substitute waistband and zipper with elastic! thanks for the tip! Your skirt looks lovely!

Deepika, that looks like another great Burda pattern and I see no reason why you couldn't do an elastic waistband. Just be sure you have enough stretch and fabric at the waistband to get over the hips.
