I understand know who is "Little red riding hood". In Switzerland her name is different, but you look like I have always imagined her. It is a very nice costume.

Now I want to be Little Red Riding Hood! I was wondering what costume I could throw together quickly. I think tomorrow night I will be cutting and sewing this! Thanks for your wonderful ideas. Keep them coming. I think this could be worn more than just on Halloween too.

Actually Sherril the skirt in the costume is my second sewing project Simplicity 9696 and the top is a white knit RTW. And the cape is made in red suedecloth/ultrasuede from Joann Fabrics.

I also like the topstiching details. Givesme something to do with those machine stiches.
