I can see what you mean about the slit being a bit too high to wear in the front! I am a little puzzled onwhat you did to add the waistband. Did you have to take out 1.5" this time, or because it tends to ride low you just added the waistband on the top of the skirt? How wide is your waistband? Thanks!

I just added the waistband, for 1 inch elastic, on top.

I made the comments about taking 1.5" out of the crotch length to let people judge whether or not they'd be able to put a waistband on without further alterations.

This is a nice skirt made out of lovely fabric. P.S. I like a waistband.
