| Pattern Description:
Semi-fitted shirt has three length variations and four armhole and sleeve variations, collar and collar band, front band and stitched hems with side slits; shirt D has sleeves that may be rolled up to form cuffs (wrong side of fabric will show). A Palmer-Plesch pattern
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very Easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love the fitting details, the step-by-step directions to get a proper fit, and the optional construction details. This blouse has great potential in any one of it's versions. A good basic.
Fabric Used: Polyester/Lycra metallic shirting from JoAnn's.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None, other than to adjust for my fit ( as in a FBA)
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I will definately be sewing it again. I can see myself even lengthening it into a shirtdress. I did have some difficulty getting the sleeve to ease in without some gathers. Not sure if this was a design element or not, but I would have preferred a flat, eased in armhole seam.
Conclusion:
