Lovely and thanks for the beginners tips. This pattern is intimidating.

The blue and silver brocade on the outer dress is beautiful! And the buttons are such a nice touch!

Very beautiful dress! And the buttons in the back are a very nice detail.

Thanks so much Renren!! Actually, it was just for Halloween! (Silly, I know). I said I wanted to make a pretty and elegant costume this year and so my boyfriend and I settled on Anne and King Henry. We had been watching The Tudors as well. Yes, the poor girl did come to a tragic end. Luckily, I can hang 'Anne' back up in the closet before I have to worry about that! Thanks! - Now that I have a bit more confidence, I'm sure I'll start sewing up a storm and posting all kinds of reviews up here!

It is absolutely lovely! I am wondering what the occasion was for this beautiful period dress. It says it's an Anne Boleyn dress, so perhaps a play? (I've been watching The Tudors; things don't turn out well for her, you know.) Lovely, I have to scroll back up and take another look!!! P.S. Congratulations on your 1st review!

Thank you!! I hope it will be. That is, if I can get motivated to start working on it again!
