Wow! Gorgeous bag and lovely fabric! It looks super neat and professional:) Having recently made my own bag I know just what you mean about sewing curves through all that stiff interfacing, hard work! And the safety pin thing happens to me all the time too! Unfortunately I don't read German or I'd be snapping this pattern up!

Beautiful work. It can be a trial sewing these structured bags -- for the sew-er and the sewing machine! But your efforts are well-rewarded. A fasturn helps when turning heavier weight fabrics. Also, there's a notion called a "bodkin" that works much better than a safety pin and it's not expensive. But I don't even try to turn heavier fabrics, opting for another method than doesn't require turning-- It's sort of like making an interfaced binding.
