Your shirt looks very nice and a great color match with the skirt. I have and like this pattern too, for all reasons you mentioned.

There is always shapewear for the dress. The top looks great!

Looks great! Just pulled this pattern out to give it a go. What about a print that might camouflage your issue with the middle..gosh I guess so many of us are always thinking of our middle...lol Ditto on the shapewear!

Great top - good to see it in a solid colour as that is what I want to sew with the pattern. It doesn't look like your has a centre front seam. Did you cut it on fold or does it have a front centre seam?
