Darling nightgown--I'm sure DGN will enjoy wearing it. I wonder if you could somehow shorten the long sleeve to get a short sleeve pattern since both are gathered near the sleeve hem. Also, the bar tacks are a good idea to reinforce the hem.

Renren - Good idea concerning the sleeve, but the two sleeves pattern pieces look completely different due to the elastic that is inserted at the bottom. Maybe I can find a p.j. pattern for kids in my stash that has something similar. Thanks for the idea.

Perfectly made little nightgown! The bar tacks are wonderful reinforcers and alll that handstitching too! Congrats on your entry!

The ruffled eyelet at the hem is a sweet touch. Thoughtful to encase the elastic. What an adorable nightgown for a little girl.
