Great review - the dress looks good on you, boxie pleats and all!

This pattern creates a very inice shape. I love your dress!

Nice to see this on someone else. Can I echo your endorsement to encourage anyone with this pattern in their stash? The lines of this dress are really superb, once you see past the rather harsh styling. I made it a few years back (also lengthened!) in grey wool and it looks quite classic, very easy to wear and great when something smarter is needed. Your review reminds me I could use the bodice pattern again.

I love the pattern, have it in my stash, and am able to choose a satin from my stash. I am going to start with this pattern right away, thanks for your review, I think the dress does look good on you, and you really inspire me to make the thing right away. Thanks for the encouragement ;)
