My sis-in-law hit it out of the park again! I love the fabrics combo: great combo of colors and textures and weights. They work very well together. Piping the linings/facing boundary is always a classy/couture touch. Re. the ease in the sleeve caps: I bet the problem with easing the sleeve caps is directly related to it being cut 90' from how it should have been cut. Normally, it'd be the weft yarns (cross-wise yarns) that you'd be easing, not the warp (length-wise) yarns. I think the warp yarns are under more tension when the fabric is woven, having longer runs and being pulled from spools, so there is always less stretch in them than the warp yarns. The stretch in the warp yarns makes it easier to ease along their length than the warp yarns.
