|This is my composite review for the Sewing for Children 2012 Contest|
I made a set of Christmas outfits for my Grandchildren:
A classic tailored shirt, vest and menswear style trousers for my 18 month old grandson. All upcycled from men's clothing from our local thrift store.

Matching dresses for the 2 granddaughters were inspired by a ribbon trim that i found at the PA Fabric Outlet. All of the fabric for the dresses along with lining and zippers and button trim also came from the outlet.

This was a very fun project. I just loved working with the pretty fabric and ribbon for the girl's dresses, and they really did turn out a lot like I had hoped. Both of my grand daughters still enjoy being "princesses", so I think they will love their dresses.
The upcycling for my grandson was so much fun. He is going to be such a dapper little man for the Holidays!
