Pattern Description:
Basic knit top pattern with two sleeve lengths and three neckline variations.
Pattern Sizing:
I cut a straight size 8 and it fits great.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yep
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, although I didn't really need to refer to them.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love this pattern. It is sooooo nice to have found a basic tee pattern that can be easily adapted to make many, many looks. Sewaholic designs for pear shapes and I don't consider myself a pear shape so I wasn't positive that I wouldn't need to make adjustments to fit my shape, but I didn't have to change a thing.
Fabric Used:
I've made this twice this week (you can see both versions by clicking on my photo). One was a soft, almost sheer rayon jersey and the other was a stretch lace.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
On my lace version, I added some gathers to the sleeves and omitted the hem band, adding length instead. I also lowered the neckline in front about an inch, which is just a personal preference of where I like things on me. I'll make that same adjustment on future versions.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Ohhhhhhhh, yes, I'll make this many more times!! It will never look like the same top, the possibilities are endless!!
