Pattern Description: Misses stretch knit top (top C)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? So simple
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Really quick to make and uses very little fabric.
Fabric Used: Polyester knit from Spotlight (bought on sale)
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I use the over locker to stitch the ends of the loops together, the turn that to the inside and a couple of quick whip stitches hold the loops in place.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This is the second one I have made from this pattern. Both times I have used the leftover bit from another top (long sleeved) for the front and plain black stretch fabric for the back and loops. I have also made top B once which was just as easy, uses just a little more fabric.
Conclusion: So easy and comfortable to wear and no ironing involved
If you don't have a very large bust I would suggest cutting the top section of the front a little narrower so it doesn't drape quite as low.

KarlaB said... Really cute top! I like your idea for using a small bit of fabric (very pretty, btw), by using a black piece on the back. Even tho winter is just getting started, I'm so looking forward to spring... so really enjoy looking at your summery top while we are having cold and snowy winter here! 12/31/12 11:32 AM
