Pattern Description:
Dress is below mid-knee with lined bodice and midriff, gathered front, flared skirt, back zipper and shoulder strap variations; dress A is completely lined; dress B has purchased trim; dress D has self tie; dress E has ribbon trim; dress F has contrast shoulder straps and back.
I chose view C, modifying the skirt to a more narrow maxi-length skirt
Pattern Sizing:
DD(12-14-16-18)
I made size 12.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
It did, but my change to the skirt (to a maxi) changed the whole look (to me).
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love love love the bust/neckline. I have a small bust, so I find that it is revealing/low-cut enough for a summer maxi style, but a strapless bra can be worn without showing in the front (if needed).
I also like how it is fitted at the bust, but then relaxes at the waist. This is nice because I have a thick waistline.
Fabric Used:
A sheer woven from Joann's red-tag clearance section. I had to double the skirt because it was so sheer.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I narrowed and lengthened the skirt to make it a maxi.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I love the the bust/neckline, and I've copied it for other self-drafted projects.
Conclusion:
Beautiful and easy pattern!

I think we have similar body types. I 'm gonna give this one a try. Great job.
