Pattern Description:
Cabbage Patch Kids Teeny Tiny Preemies doll clothes. There are 6 outfits. I made view E, the nightgown.
Pattern Sizing:
Specific to the Cabbage Patch Preemies (10" dolls) - but this version was for a stuffed animal (monster) of about the same size as the Preemies.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions and pattern pieces were excellent.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
It is so darn cute.
Fabric Used:
Cotton, but it can be done in knits as well. It had to be monster friendly fabric - nothing to "girlie".
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I did goof up one part where you are to sew the bias tape to the right side at the front neck edge and then flip it to the inside. I managed to get that backwards and sewed it to the wrong side and flipped it to the right side, but I just called it a design element and went on.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I have requests from the Grands to make a few more. These patterns are so well done they are enjoyable to make.
Conclusion:
Here is the Monster in his new garb. (The request was specific that he needed a hood.) Click Here
