Pattern Description: Blouse with decorative neckline from knit fabric.

Pattern Sizing:Custom pattern download based on measurements you provide at purchase. If you're a US purchaser you will need to convert your measurements to metric. You also need to add the seam allowances.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? No. They consist of five sentences of awkward translation and nowhere in them is a reference to the center front seam. If you've sewn New Look 6071, it's a very similar technique used for the crossover. The only difference is here the seam is above the bust instead of below.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? The style, the fit, the concept of a pattern produced just for me; I loved pretty much everything about it. The Lekala customer service was wonderful. I transposed one of my measurements and they picked up on it and emailed me immediately.

Fabric Used:St. Johns rayon lycra jersey from Five Eighth Seams in Charleston, SC.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I did a sleeveless version.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Emphatic yeses to both. Long sleeved, short sleeved and sleeveless- I see many of these in my future.

Conclusion: After seeing Trumbelina's pretty fuchsia version I checked out the link she included for a striped one on the Burda website. I shamelessly copied the idea of angling the front pieces to create a chevron effect. From cutting to finishing this top took two hours at most. I used the serger for construction and the coverstitch for the armscyes and hem.

OK, that is just too cute! Lekala huh? I may have to jump on the bandwagon for this one. You said this was easy to make, it looks really complicated.

Looks fab. How is the fit? As good as they promise? You will have to post a picture of yourself modelling it :-)

The fit is fantastic mnitts. The only thing I will do on the next one is take a little wedge from the collar center back seam. It could be a bit more snug to keep the stripes nice and straight.
