Pattern Description:
I'm reviewing view F.
Long sleeved knit top with draped neckline.
Pattern Sizing:
P5 12-20 (38-46 in European sizes)
I made size 12.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, more or less.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like that it is easy to sew and flattering on. It is also very versatile if sewn with different types of fabrics or different prints.
The top turned up larger over the shoulders and under the arms than I had expected. But that is not necessarily a bad thing.
Fabric Used:
A lightweight rayon-lycra blend fabric with animal print.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
In the instructions they put an elastic at the lowest part of the side seams in order to get rouging. I didn't put in the elastic as I want to be able to have the top tucked in.
I sew all seams as french seams which I'm glad I did as it gives the lightweight fabric some more stability. I was worried the seams would otherwise tear easily. I also reinforced the pleating seams at the shoulders a bit extra in order for them not to tear.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes and yes. Absolutly.
Conclusion:
Great, versatile and feminine top that is great with fabrics with out interesting prints or colors.

I just love these kind of tops/dresses :) Great fabric choice! Nice seeing an animal print with lots of color :)
