Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes!
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes. I am confused about facings though...which I think is a personal issue.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I really like the way it came out. The sleeve detail on version E is really, really cute. I would like to make the mock-wrap style but I don't like how high the neckline is...I'd have to learn to modify that.
Fabric Used:
Grey knit interlock
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I cut version D in a size 16 (it only has one sleeve right now). The fit was looser than I'd like so I cut this in a 16 up top and graded down to a 14 through the waist and hips.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
YES! I will be making this again. It'll make nice spring tops and good layering pieces for MN winters. I have to find some nice printed knits as well. I would recommend it to others, especially beginners. It's quick and simple and there's nothing like near instant gratification.
Versions D and E have two pieces for the back, one front piece and the sleeves. Very simple to sew up.

Thanks sewbehind. I'm staring at the directions now for the facing. Sadly confused about "layer seam" and "under stitch" and the instructions leave much to be desired! :) off to Google! 2/10/13 10:36 AM
