Pattern Description: Cardigan with wide hems at outer edges and full length sleeves. View A has angled fronts and front extends forming collar.
Pattern Sizing: XS-XL
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, this was very simple and easy pattern. I like that it was pretty mindless!
Fabric Used: A drapey cotton-poly jersey knit from Joann's. This was my first time using jersey. I really love how comfy the final garment is and would like to use more knits in the future. However, I do think it would be far easier if I had a serger! I had a lot of trouble with my machine skipping stitches with this fabric, I think maybe because I used cotton thread rather than poly. I did use a dedicated jersey needle.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I'd like to make another, perhaps in a stripe or print. Definitely would recommend to anyone interested in this type of garment.
Conclusion: I really like the final product, it is flattering and comfortable. Especially in this light, drapey fabric, I think it is dressy enough for work wear.
