Pattern Description: Vintage inspired Jackie dress from the book Burdastyle Sewing Vintage modern. It is based on Louisa drop waist dress pattern. But we have to modify it and draft to get the Jackie dress.
Pattern Sizing: Burda size 32-46
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Very similar
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes. This pattern needs to be drafted and the instructions to draft are easy to follow.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love the collar. The only drafting instruction I would not repeat next time is. It suggests to make the armhole deeper by an inch. That was not necessary.
Fabric Used:
Satin Silk.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Nothing. I wanted it to be an exact copy.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes. I want to make it waist length with cotton next time.
Conclusion:
Good pattern and easy to sew. Great wardrobe builder of course.

Wonderful! You did such a nice job. Your dress is way better;) I like your length better and also you placed the print just right. It can get tricky with the large florals...
