Pattern Description: Faux-Wrap dress for knits with pockets. Has sleeve and collar variations
Pattern Sizing:Sizes 10-22
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes it did.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Very easy
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love that this pattern has the styling of a wrap dress but isn't. Also, the v neckline is not deep so no need to adjust. The skirt has pockets - you have to love that.
Fabric Used: cotton lycra knit.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I left off the cuffs and collar and lengthened the sleeves. I also added 2 inches to the length and made a sash rather than a belt. As other reviewers have noted there is ample room in the front bust on this pattern. I made a 10 without my usual FBA to a 12 and still had to take the front sides in quite a bit. Also, the pattern doesn't recommend stabilizing the V neckline and it started to stretch on me. Next time I will stablize the front neckline.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Yes and yes - I am already planning a summer version!
Conclusion: I love this pattern and will sew it again. It is perfect if you want the wrap look without the wearing inconveniences of the wrap. More details and pictures are on my blog Pink Hollybush
