That is a great hat!!! and as for if making a business out of it will ruin the fun? I suppose that depends...it can get tedious making hats for $20 each...but if you're selling them for $50 each - there may be some satisfaction in that. Whatever you do, don't sell yourself short - that hat is custom made and you used the right word for it - fabulous!

Oh, that looks just perfect! Lucky guy, and lucky you for having such a great trainer (as evidenced by your photos). I'm awed that you made the pattern up yourself, looks complicated to me. But I hear ya on the business hesitance. I do a little, but find myself telling people that I don't do it anymore.
