Pattern Description: Simple and fast skirt. Easy to use up fabric scraps. So this last Sunday I made a jersey knit skirt with this pattern and I exclaimed my love of how simple it is and how Miss K needed bottoms around here for summer. Well I went a bit overboard. . . Making 5 more in woven fabrics.
Pattern Sizing: I stayed with the same 152cm that I used in the jersey skirt. K is an 8/10 in RTW
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes. It looks the same even in woven.
Were the instructions easy to follow? very easy to sew although I just made this Sunday so I didn't need to read the instructions for these 5.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love it! I really like the ruffle on the bottom and that I can use up fabric scraps to make cute usable skirts.
Fabric Used: Scraps from previous projects. It takes about 1/2 yard to make the whole skirt!
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: none except that I used woven instead of knit.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I think having 6 total of the same skirt is a bit much so I think I'll wait until she outgrows them before I make her more. But I love the pattern and plan to use it again in the future.
