There are two versions. View 1 has a scooped semi-ruched neck band and short sleeves, View 2 has a V neck with wide band and long sleeves. As usual, this is a multisize pattern.
I've made the scooped neck version of this pattern several times now. During summer, it was made as the photo on the packet envelope twice, but now that winter has arrived here in Oz, I substituted the short sleeves for long.
The pattern is very true to the envelope photo - for those that like/need a longer length top, this one is perfect. Being short, 5'2", if I were making this top just to wear with skirts, I would definitely shorten it by 10cm, however, as it will be worn with both pants and skirts, I have kept the pattern length as is.
I always find KS patterns too low in the armhole, so have raised the armhole 1cm. I also narrowed the shoulders (this is usual for me).
The pattern instructions are easy to follow with plenty of illustrations.
This top was made in a grey rayon lycra knit and feels wonderful. This top will get a lot of wear over winter.
