I'm with you all the way. When I say "sew" I MEAN on the sewing machine, not with needle and thread. Sleeve length can be awkward when they end up the same as the hem, maybe you could shorten them just a tad if they aren't working for you. The jacket is beautiful. What a great thing when a muslin turns out to be wearable.

That's a great pattern and a great result. I would never have guessed that a sweater knit would work so well with this pattern. I like the extra flounciness (okay, that's not a word, but I like it!) in the peplum.
