Pattern Description: Misses camisole, pants, skirt and lined jacket.
Pattern Sizing: Size A 10-22
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes, except that I added 4 inches to the top of the skirt straight up from the hipline and made it a pull-on with a 1-3/4" elastic waist.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Didn't use them
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It is simple and would fit with the fabric for an easy little skirt with some flair.
Fabric Used: Light-weight and drapey Seersucker--very slippery to handle-- from my stash from 5-6 years ago from Field's Fabrics
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: See above for the waistline changes. I used serged seam finishes and a narrow hem as well.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Absolutely to both questions--it fit very well with the 2 hr description of the S9518 I used for the rest of the coordinates. I decided on a skirt when I had enough fabric left over from the pants and shirt. This is a simple little skirt that is fun and comfortable to wear. I would not want it made out of any heavier fabric, however--would probably not hang as well.
Conclusion: I can recommend this without qualification for seamstresses of all skill levels. It will become part of my TNT library.
