Kwik Sew Pattern Info
Pattern Rating:Highly Recommend
See other patterns in this category: Toddlers
Fabric:Flannelette  [See other projects in this fabric]
Pattern Description:
One of my favourite patterns for toddler's pants, it has an elastic waist and no side seams.
Pattern Sizing:
T-1 to T-4.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
I didn't refer to them, but construction was very easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
This pattern goes together quickly and easily, which is an advantage when making several pairs at a time. I've made it in both knits and wovens with satisfactory results.
Fabric Used:
I used flannelette that has been in my stash for about 5 years. Total stash: 50 to 75 yards. This project was in long-range planning but made now because of the contest.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I added a plaid flannelette patch pocket to the front.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes! I would recommend it to anyone who can find it.
I can almost put this pattern together with my eyes closed, but there must be other similar patterns available which work just as well.

Love the plaid pocket you've added. I'm making the "no side seam" pants right now from KS 2978, a pattern with baby rompers, a cardigan, pants & a hat. These are really super easy to whip up.

Great idea! And I really like the tip about the baking parchment - lots of it on hand.

Isn't it great to have a pattern that works so well? You could always iron it to fusible interfacing (using baking parchment so your iron doesn't get messed up). Then you'd have it for a lot longer.
