Pattern Description: This is an out-of-print pattern for cowl-neck blouses cut on the bias. I was looking for pattern to do a woven and thought the bias might make it more comfortable.
Pattern Sizing: std multisizing.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? This is easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? There are fit problems with the pattern. The sleeves and shoulder area are very tight. It's too bad, because I've let out the seams as far as they go and the bias drape is nice. May if I lose some weight...
Fabric Used:Polyester satin charmeuse from my stash, at least 5 years old. Good colors for my wardrobe.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Except for letting out the seams, I followed the instructions.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Not sure, maybe as sleeveless or short sleeve where the sleeve /shoulder fit is less critical or if I do a muslin. Needs some fitting work.
Conclusion: An interesting bias front top with cowl neck and sleeve variations. Has tight fit problems with sleeves and shoulders, beware.
