Pattern Description: I used directions from sewmamasew.com to make a fleece pillow cover for my son.
Pattern Sizing: The directions on the site give directions for all sizes of pillows. For this project, I used the directions for the 14 by 28 inch pillow form.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Mine was simpler, but yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Very easy. This would be a great beginner sewing/quilting project. Really, you could make it as difficult or easy as you want.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? No dislikes.
Fabric Used: I used a polyester fleece with Colts horseshoes and name on it. I did fussy cut somewhat to try to show off the prints.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I increased the seam allowance since I was using fleece. I'm not sure if it was necessary, but I didn't want my son ripping the cover when he tries to take the pillow form out for washing.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, this is the second time I've used the directions and highly recommend the directions, especially for a quilted pillow.
