Pattern Description: Women's and girls' low-waist bikini with enclosed elastic at waist and leg openings.
Pattern Sizing:According to the size chart I went with a 10 yr old or letter N. I used View A
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes!
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions are very detailed and wonderfully supplemented with pictures. They took maybe 1/2 hour to sew up and were so cute!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I never knew it was so easy to make underwear! Really, this was simple and fast.
Fabric Used:I ordered this fabric back in Feb. from The Fabric Fairy. It is a dream to work with. A nice stable knit.
"Colorful Umbrellas Cotton Knit" 1 yard of 60" wide for $7.19
I made K a dress with an Ottobre pattern and wanted to make underwear to match.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I used less stretchy knit fabric and I sewed down the front of the crotch lining to keep it down nice.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Problem I have is .... they are waaaaaaaaay to tight. I'll have to try again with a bigger size. Also, the pattern states to use 75% stretch and I know my knit is a ton less stretchy. I still have enough to etch out two more pairs of undies with the same fabric so I'll try again. Either way they are so cute!
I do recommend this pattern to others. It is a great way to make underwear and comes with tons of options for girls, boys, women and men. I plan on using this and trying other views in the future as well.
