This pattern is for knit dresses in two lengths with bodice variations. I made the maxi dress with the halter bodice. The pattern sizes are Misses 14-22 and I made it in the size 22.
My dress actually did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once I was done sewing with it.
And I was pleased with the results.
I've made this dress twice before with a different bodice and length and the instructions were easy to follow for both variations of the dress.
I particularly liked how easy the dresses came together and the different variations you can put together to make a maxi dress, gown or something fun and flirty.
The Fabrics I Used: were a half yard white lightweight shiny jersey and 2.5 yards of a geometric cotton.
Pattern alterations or any design changes I made: were 1st I used a cotton for the bottom and forgot to upscale the size to accommodate that, 2nd I doubled the fabric for the back of the cowl bodice, 3rd I added a zipper on the left hand side (for easy access because of the woven fabric) and then I turned under the lining and slip stitched it over the bodice/waist seam.
I've used this pattern three times now and I think I would sew it again. I definitely recommend it to others since it is an easy and fun pattern to use. My daughter even wants one. And this one will be hers because I forgot to make allowances for the woven fabric. DRAT. But the good news is I have identical fabric to the woven in a green woven and I'll use the right pattern bottom to make mine but use this cowl bodice.
In Conclusion: 4 more maxi dresses to go but they are coming. I HOPE.
