|Pattern Description: |
Misses dresses in different lengths, bodices, sleeves and skirts.
(4-10) and (12-20) I made a size 20
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
I would say that it did. The picture of the version I made was a drawing and my dress is tonal white which sometimes sometimes throws off perception.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Most of them were. The instructions on the straps threw me off a little.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I wish the depth of the bodice was a little longer. That's the only thing in the look I and fit I didn't like. In the construction I didn't like sewing through all of the gathering.
I used 2.75 yards of a tonal white ribbon effect cotton knit I purchased too long ago to remember.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I made no changes but I have a blue/green fabric that I will be using tomorrow to make the same dress and I might trying extending the bodice.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I will be sewing the same version again very soon and will try one of the others later.
Conclusion: Even if mazis go out of style tomorrow I can cut them and still have a nice dress. I have several reviews to take pictures for and this is one of them. I guess I need to set up my tripod for a photo shoot.
