Pattern Description: This pattern is far a jacket, basic T, and pants. I made the T as I was looking for a simply yet nice looking project to make and it did not disappoint me.
Pattern Sizing:The sizing is from XS to 6X. I went with the 2X which is pretty much what I purchase in RTW.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? I would say yes it does. It is hard to tell in my photo since I used a darker color but is a good likeness.
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions were easy to follow. Anyone would be able to make this top.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I loved it because it was so easy to put together and I did not to mess with darts or anything at the time. I was worried how it would fit because of that but I have to say it fits surprisingly well.
What I didn't like is that the pattern did not list a neck to waist measurement for the size or the finished garment. I am tall and that is important for me. Therefore I measured the pieces and went from there.
Fabric Used: I used a polyester jacquard which I had had in my stash for several years. I really liked the look.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I did go up a size on the sleeves as I have problems with sleeves fitting and lengthened the body due to my height. Other than that I did not need to any alterations.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Yes, I am planning to make it again, at least twice more. I would definitely recommend it.
Conclusion: It is OOP but if you have it and you are looking for a quick and easy top this will fill the bill I will change the photo when I can get one with it on.
