|Pattern Description: Sleeveless top with draped front. I made view B. I am surprised to see that this pattern is already OOP!|
Pattern Sizing: XS - XL. I cut an M, although based on my measurements I would have needed an L.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, here it is with a skirt, and here is the back.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, very clear instructions.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I liked the draping at the front neckline and the fact that this is a simple and quick top to make.
Fabric Used: Jersey.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Besides going down one size, I removed 4 cm from the cowl, as it was too low for my taste, by using this method. I also removed 4 cm from the top's length.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I would sew this top again, actually I sewed it once before, but I cut the L size and it was way too big on me. I avoided this pattern ever since, but now I'm glad I took the time to get a better fit and I see myself making it again and again. Yes, I do recommend it to others.
Conclusion: This is the last item I am submitting to the Fabric Stash Contest, in an attempt to meet my personal goal to sew up a total of 10 meters from my stash during the Contest. (Well, to be completely honest, I am still 3 cm short of my goal, but that's immaterial compared to 10 meters )
