Short sleeve t-shirt with banded neck and sleeves. The back neckline is shaped in a slight v.
34-52. I made my usual 34.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, except my back neckline doesn't look like it has any v-shape to it. I sewed my band in the round. To maintain the v-shape, I think you'd have to:
1. cut the v shape more sharply
2. start and begin the neckband at the v (as is done in many v-neck shirts)
Were the instructions easy to follow?
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I was really pleased with the fit on this. It seems to have the perfect amount of ease for me and the neckline is not too high, but low enough that it gapes.
On a whim, I added a hem band to match the neck and sleeve bands.
A butterfly print cotton jersey.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
1. Added hem band.
2. My usual shoulder alterations.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
This is a great shirt and has been added to my TNT list.
