Pattern Description: Adult version of the pillowcase dresses I have been making for charity.
Pattern Sizing: Plus size
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, I have given them on several reviews.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It goes together very quickly. I have made about 100 of these for girls. The latest ones were sent to friends of ours who are missionaries in the Philippines and teach in a local school. They were thrilled and asked for as many as we can make.
Fabric Used: Cotton-blend crinkle
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None other than going up to an adult size by increasing length and width.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I will sew it again for children. However, I was not really thrilled with it for me. I do not have the hand coordination to put on the dress, hold it up, and tie the straps. Other than that, it was very comfortable but not really my style.
Conclusion: I was curious about this dress since I have made so many to send to Guatamala and now the Philippines. It is great for small girls but I think I prefer another style.
