This pattern is multi sized XS, S, M, L and XL. I made the View A top, starting with size S in the shoulders, then grading to M at the waist and L at the hips. If you look at the pictures on the cover of the pattern envelope you will notice that these tops are quite short ... and so am I (5'2"), but this top would have been too short even for me if I didn't add 4cm to the length.
I used a small piece of rayon lycra knit leftover from another project, so there was only enough for the front and back ... forget about any sleeves.
The top goes together very easily. I did change one thing with the construction. With regards to the front gathers, the pattern instructions tell you to cut a piece of tape and gather the fronts to fit the tape. I didn't do this, rather I used a piece of narrow elastic, and stretched it between the gathering points - this worked well for me.
All up this is a good basic top to pad out the wardrobe. Next time I make it, I'm going to add sleeves - I never feel fully dressed these days without my sleeves
