Pattern Sizing: Y (Xsm- Med) I used a medium and graded up to a Large.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? No. I made several changes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Didn't use the instructions. I had a picture in my mind and I went with it.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I can't really say that there was anything that I didn't like, but I assume that because I was able to make this dress with ease a beginner should be able to make this as a blouse according to the directions easily.
Fabric Used: I got this fabric from Hancock's about 6 months ago and I believe it is a polyester knit of some type. All I know is that it is shiney and hunter green. The top part is a multi- colored floral printed chiffon.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Wow, don't know where to begin, but I did some altering.. lol
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I would recommend this pattern.
Conclusion: This pattern does not have to be made the same way that I made it. It can be a nice flowing Summer top and I think it would make a nice short dress as well. I think this is the perfect pattern for letting your imagination run wild and your creative style come out.
