|Pattern Description: Misses Top, Dress, Belt with options for sleeves and neck|
Pattern Sizing: Y (XS- S- MED) I made the medium
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I liked the detail from the pleats.
Fabric Used: I used 100% polyester Charmeuse Satin
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I actually made the sleeves a little shorter (about 1") than the cut off from the pattern. Other than that, no other changes.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, Yes, If you like flowing easy dresses or tops, this is the pattern to have. It has a lot of options and it fits comfortably in this particular fabric.
Conclusion: Overall, this is an excellent pattern. It was quick and easy. If you follow the direction of the arrows and mark everything according to the pattern directions, you shouldn't have any problems. A small suggestion though, in the pattern it advises you to sew the pleats down. What I did was sew them down about 1/2" or just enough for the seam allowance. This gave me an open pleat. If you are uncomfortable doing this, please go by the directions, then at the end you can take them out or leave them in. It all depends on what you like....,But it is a great pattern.
