Petite lined jackets, skirt, shorts and pants in 2 lengths.
I made the pants with fitted, darted waist with faced waistline and floor length. Pattern Sizing:
4 - 12. I initially made the 12 but the 10 is what I should use. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes they did. Were the instructions easy to follow?
They were great for beginners. The skirt, shorts and pants instructions are bundled together which is not great but they both use a centre back zipper and faced waistline. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the slim fit of each piece and the summer feel of these styles. Fabric Used:
Cotton batik woven fabric. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I did a sway back adjustment.
Then increased the top of the inside leg curve to cater for my thighs.
Next I increased the back crotch curve for my behind.
Lastly the back calf piece was widened to not show the strain lines. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes I would. I can use this trouser pattern to draft them into jeans; add pockets; and add a fly front zip.
If you have this in your stash, this is an easy pattern to manipulate to fit you. I'd recommend this to first time trouser sewers. Here's a link to my trouser testing. Conclusion:
I'm happy to have worked out this pattern and I am using this for a summer work collection.
