Pattern Description: Close-fitting, pullover top has seam detail and narrow hem.

Pattern Sizing: 6-22 I sewed size 8

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like the possilities this pattern offers:Color blocking, stripes, mix and match views.

Fabric Used: A very light weight three-dimensional sweater knit sent to me from Quebec by a friend. The black is a light weight knit purchased locally.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I finished the neck with binding made from the solid black knit. The pattern has you turn and hem the seam allowance. I normally prefer a binding finish.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I will definitely be sewing some kind of combination from this pattern. I would recommend this pattern to others.

Conclusion: I'm pleased with my top. I was looking for a simple top with a little something different to showcase the fabric. This pattern met my expectations.

I agree with ArtAttack. The shiny cheesy fabric that Vogue used turned me off, but your choice really makes this pattern smoke! I like the way the angles and your use of the pattern and the solid accentuate the waist. Very nice.

I would have passed right past this pattern if all I saw was the company's pic. Your version is fabulous! It's attractive and so flattering. Vogue may owe you a thank you - I'm sure they'll be selling a few extra of these soon! Really, what a great eye you had for fabric and style; very cool.

I missed your review previously. Wow you made this pattern look great. I never liked this pattern because of the garment the model is wearing, ugly fabric. Your top looks fabulous.
