Pattern Description: (from the Sewaholic Patterns website) The Renfrew Top is a fitted knit top with sleeve and neckline variations. View A has long sleeves and a scoop neckline. View B has short sleeves and a deep V neckline. View C has a dramatic cowl neckline and three-quarter length sleeves. Mix and match any of the sleeves with any of the neckline options for unlimited possibilities!

Pattern Sizing: I made size 8 straight from the pattern. I used the cowl neck and full length sleeves. It has RTW fit.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, the directions were very clear. I used my serger for all the seams, and only used my sewing machine on the seam that attaches the cowl to the body to stop the serged bit from sticking up and rubbing my skin (I'm sure there's a name for that but I'm a super beginner so I don't know what to call that, please forgive me and enlighten me if you have an answer).

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I am a pear shape and this pattern works for my body. Also I like the "cheat" of not having to actually sew a hem.

Fabric Used: Jacquard Knit Houndstooth 87% Polyester/13% Rayon

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: none

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes I actually have sewn it a couple times already. Yes I recommend it, but considering the fact that there are over 100 other reviews, you don't have to take my word for it

Conclusion: I am looking forward to sewing other versions of it, now that the weather is warming up

Oh, I love this in that fabric. Great matching of fabric to pattern. And if there is a name for the seam allowance rubbing your skin, I've no idea what it is, other than irritating. :)
