Pattern Description: Another Archer!! This one for a good friend's birthday gift.

Pattern Sizing:

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes, except for my pocket changes.

Were the instructions easy to follow?Very. And after making this pattern about 12 times, I think I could sew it in my sleep.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? As always, I love everything about this shirt. The fact that it is loose-fitting makes it attractive for sewing for others as fit is not that big an issue.

Fabric Used:Tencel from Hart's Fabrics. I decided on this fabric after seeing a Michael Stars shirt (priced at $148) out of it. I'm not exactly sure what tencel is but it is man-made and lightweight.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:After looking at lots of RTW denim shirts, I noticed that the vast majority of them have pockets with flaps. So I added that variation.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?I keep saying, never again. But then I always go back to it!

Conclusion: A wonderful shirt pattern, worthy of its many fans. Nothing to add!

Cute! What a wonderful gift. I love tencel, too. It's bound to be rayon or acetate...love that stuff.

Looks great! My dad has a tencel shirt - his is marked cold wash, warm iron. I believe tencel is similar to viscose in that it is a natural fibre with a manmade transformation.

Great shirt. Classic but feminine. Tencel is made by treating wood pulp with a dissolving agent. A natural fiber, it breathes and holds color well, even black. Soft and drapey. Perfect for this pattern as your shirt shows.

Another great Archer shirt! I like your pocket flaps, too. The general look of this reminds of the "work shirts" that were so popular years ago.
