Fabric:Acrylic Knit  [See other projects in this fabric]
Pattern Description: A basic Pullover dress with front elastic casing detail, deep V-neck, flare skirt and a stitched hem. I made view D with cap sleeves and a length of about 2 inches below the knee.

Pattern Sizing: I cut out the size 16. It was too big.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It was pretty straight forward.

Fabric Used: An unremarkable purple (eggplant) knit from JoAnns.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I cut out 6 inches for the back center seam (3" each side) because I cut the wrong size

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I do not think I will use this pattern again but I would recommend it others.

Conclusion: Please check out the blog Denver Sews for a complete review. McCalls 6074

I like this dress better in your version than the pattern cover.

I was drawn to the photo of your dress and was surprised to see it was a pattern I own. You did a great job - it looks fabulous on you.
