oooh, it's slenderizing. It just moved up to the "do it soon" part of my ToDo list. I couldn't figure why the slits in the flounce either, and thought I'd just eliminate them. Great minds! So glad to hear you did it and it worked, also the tips on fitting the waist. I hope mine turns out as nicely as yours did!

I love love love this skirt - I've made view B in onionskin, and view A in a poly faux suede (haven't reviewed them, 'cuz I'm a bad, bad girl). I don't recall the directions having slits in the flounce for view B. View A, yes, but not B. I didn't like the effect of the slits in the version of View A I did, so I cut off the flounce and will redo it with only one slit.

Lovely skirt. It looks great on you and I like the version you picked out best--more of a timeless style.

Oh, I dunno.....even without shoes, the skirt looks great! Beautiful color and it looks fabulous on you.

Great review, and really cute on you. It gives an illusion of height and begs to be worn with a jacket that just skims the top of your hips. I bought this pattern last spring & haven't sewn yet. It said moleskin to me so I bought some. Therefore I'm really glad I read your review first. Can't imagine all that moleskin being gathered by elastic. Ugh! I think I may adapt it by using darts, zipper, & waist band. Your review has saved me, thanks!
