Great minds! So glad to hear you did it and it worked, also the tips on fitting the waist. I hope mine turns out as nicely as yours did! 8/3/05 1:44 PM

Jules/Vancouver BC said... I love love love this skirt - I've made view B in onionskin, and view A in a poly faux suede (haven't reviewed them, 'cuz I'm a bad, bad girl).
I don't recall the directions having slits in the flounce for view B. View A, yes, but not B.
I didn't like the effect of the slits in the version of View A I did, so I cut off the flounce and will redo it with only one slit. 8/3/05 6:38 PM

Sharon Smith said... Great review, and really cute on you. It gives an illusion of height and begs to be worn with a jacket that just skims the top of your hips. I bought this pattern last spring & haven't sewn yet. It said moleskin to me so I bought some. Therefore I'm really glad I read your review first. Can't imagine all that moleskin being gathered by elastic. Ugh! I think I may adapt it by using darts, zipper, & waist band. Your review has saved me, thanks! 10/26/05 3:04 PM
