I cut out a size 14 (28" waist) but ended up with a 30" waist (size 16).
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, though I only referred to them for the torso.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I liked the bodice and blouse - not a fan of the skirt.
Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made:
I altered the skirt. The pattern was a 3-in-1 (Dorothy, Wicked Witch and Glenda) so it used one skirt for all three. However, to get the diagonal gingham to line up near the skirt's hem, the skirt has to have a straight hem and straight sides - not rounded.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, with careful attention to the sizing. I would not recommend this to a sewer who is not adept at fitting and altering along the way.
I got the results I wanted, but with modifications.
