Wow! Silk velvet? Definitely the high end of GNU :-)... I do very much like how it turns a bit, you should maybe suggest that as a feature to the publishers, as well as point out patternreview as a resource?

took a unix/linux class a few years back. Can't say I remember very much of it. But the penguin is very cute! I'll have to give it a try.

Cool! BTW, when I went to the site, there were two versions of the most recent pattern; one was a tiled PDF, which means no trip to xerox.

Thanks Nikki. I was just about to spend $122 on some penguins to decorate our school library in the winter. We want a winter wonderland theme. I think I can come up with some penguins from this pattern and save some money. If they look half as good as yours, I'll be satisfied.
