The top looks beautiful. The illustration on the pattern site looks like the garment has smooth sleeve caps. Your sleeve caps looks gathered, was this due to an alteration or change in design?

Carol, yes I used a sleeve pattern piece from a different pattern, since it was one I knew fit me

Nice! Would love to see it on you. I have found these tunic-style bias-cut outfits to be very useful and much more flattering than I expected. I made McCall's 4382 and it gets much admired. I hadn't spotted this Vogue one, - I like the look of it.

Catching up on some reviews. It would definitely make a difference having the bias cut vs. the straight grain! Good warning. Congrats on your weight lose. Looks like a cute top; I'm tempted to try it myself.
